ALERT: New Form I-129 Required Starting January 17 – No Grace Period!

USCIS has announced that it will publish a new version of Form I-129, Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker, dated January 17, 2025. The new version includes changes in light of the H-1B and H-2 modernization rules. But the new form is required for all Form I-129s regardless of the nonimmigrant category. There is no grace period for this new form. USCIS will accept only the April 1, 2024 version before January 17 and only the new version beginning January 17.
