If you are charged with a crime, you have many important rights that are guaranteed by the United States and Pennsylvania Constitutions.  These rights include the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.  The burden is always on the Commonwealth to prove its case and it is important in every case to hold the Commonwealth to its burden.

My first step in every case is to think about the trial.  Does the Commonwealth have enough evidence to prove its case?  Are there any weaknesses in the Commonwealth’s case?  Is there any evidence that we can present to rebut the Commonwealth’s case?  We will discuss these issues the very first time we meet and continue to discuss them throughout your case as new information comes in.  The only way to get a good result in every case is to be prepared to go to trial in every case.  At the end of the day, whether you actually go to trial is up to you.  But I will be with you every step of the way to give you my advice and counsel.  It is my job to be prepared to try your case and to explain any other options available to you so you can make the best decision for you.
