Processing Times
Depending on the type, most immigrant petitions are adjudicated either at one of five Service Centers across the country, or at the local Field Office. Applications related to the Immigrant Investor (EB-5) Program are adjudicated by the Immigrant Investor Program Office (IPO).
This page shows estimates of how long each Service Center, the Philadelphia Field Office, and the IPO are taking to process different types of cases as of December 31, 2017. Current processing times provide a “ball park” estimate of how long we can expect that it will take for a petition we file now to be adjudicated. However, processing times often change over time so there is no guarantee that a particular petition will be adjudicated in the same amount of time as those filed previously.
