Welcome to Santee Law
Trusted Immigration and Criminal Defense Lawyer
The Law Offices of David S. Santee is an immigration and criminal defense law firm based in suburban Philadelphia. We offer a full range of immigration services, including applications of individuals seeking U.S. lawful permanent residency (a “green card”), petitions for businesses seeking to bring in workers from overseas, and defense of individuals in deportation proceedings. We also represent individuals whose criminal charges jeopardize their immigration status.
One of the defining characteristics of our firm is that we are never afraid of a challenging case. In fact, what distinguishes us most is our creative approach to solving the most difficult legal problems. We won’t rest until we have thought about the case from every angle, going over the details again and again until we find the answer.
We help keep families together here in the U.S. through a process known as “adjustment of status” and also file immigrant visa applications for those seeking to reunite with their family already living in the U.S.
We help individuals obtain permanent residency through their employment and businesses bring in talented workers from overseas. We handle the whole process, from labor certification to visa application.
Student & Other Nonimmigrant Visas
We help students and exchange visitors obtain nonimmigrant visas, and extend and change their status. We handle CPT, OPT, and STEM extensions. We also handle visas for temporary workers.
We draw on our extensive courtroom advocacy experience to provide highly effective deportation defense. We understand the many defenses to deportation and, more importantly, how best to present them.
We represent noncitizen clients in criminal court and also consult with criminal defense attorneys on potential immigration consequences such as ICE detention and loss of immigrant status.
Appeals & Post Conviction
We handle appeals on immigration and criminal matters. We also file post-conviction petitions to overturn criminal convictions that carry serious immigration consequences, including deportation.
